about the second time i've had my legs out this year. i force myself to believe that this year, like last year, we're going to have an indian summer in october; it's probably untrue and i'm most likely getting my hopes up but i can wish. today was warm, with a breeze, L's favourite type of weather (other than rain), so i made an effort to bare my legs and wear some shoes that haven't seen the light of day for 6 months+. frilly socks are simply the most fun thing to wear, albeit i feel like a school girl in her mother's shoes, but they're so soft (always the winning feature with me). now i'm going to eat a handful of dry rice krispies, just because.
